• Each year, AZATA hosts a variety of events that  enable our members to connect with colleagues, participate in building community, and qualify for continuing education credits (CECs).
  

• Social Justice Projects offers members the opportunity to address an important community cause; advocate for art therapy; build community among art therapists and art therapy supporters; and facilitate interactive community art projects.
  
• CEU workshops offers the opportunity to network while earning necessary continuing education credits (CECs). Members receive discounts.
  
• Meet & Greet and Annual Meetings offer members the opportunity connect with AzATA’s Board of Directors in order to keep abreast of state and national art therapy news; engage in dialogue; and connect with other members of Arizona’s art therapy community.
  
• AzATA advocates for the art therapy profession in Arizona. If you are an art therapist or art therapy student in Arizona, our organization is working on your behalf to educate the legislature, public, and behavioral health profession. We meet one-one-one, in the university classroom, at networking events, and before audiences to educate and emphasize the relevance of art therapy and the importance of this being recognized as a distinct mental health profession.
